VOD 101K | Bristol RE | Fleet No. 2758

VOD101K was delivered new as Western National 2758 in March1971 and was one of the last Bristol REs delivered new to the company. VOD101K would see extensive use in Cornwall but would see out its days in the West Country with Devon General, only recently re-separated from Western National. Withdrawn by 1985, the vehicle passed through several independents leading to a vibrant second life in Yorkshire. Withdrawn for the final time by 1997, the vehicle passed to a preservationist in Durham where the vehicle would reside for the next 20 years until purchased by a member of CBPS and returned to the West Country. The vehicle is now undergoing a thorough restoration to return her to the road.
