Just a week after the WHOTTThe West Country Historic Omnibus & Transport Trust rally was held in Exeter, it was time for the big bus event at Duxford in Cambridgeshire on Sunday 26 September 2010. Our chairman and I had decided to attend the event following an invitation from 'friend' Colin that we could break the journey by staying at his home in Maidenhead on Saturday night and the Sunday night after the event. On Sunday 15 August 2010, I was one of a group of 14 enthusiasts who set off from Camborne bus station at 06.30 hours to make the 360 miles round trip to Brislington in Bristol for the annual rally held by the Bristol Vintage Bus Group. Our mode of transport was a 1969 Bristol RELH 'Royal Blue' coach 1460 (OTA 632G) owned by the West Country Historic Omnibus & Transport Trust (WHOTTThe West Country Historic Omnibus & Transport Trust). She is based in west Cornwall and looked after by 'friend' Mel Williams with a little help from myself and a few other 'friends' from WHOTT. Read more
