Just a brief update on things happening with CBPSCornwall Bus Preservation Society - formed by a group of bus and coach enthusiasts who are involved in maintaining, restoring and preserving a number of buses which saw operational service in Cornwall that have been bought, donated or even loaned to members of the group. As mentioned last month, our Bristol VRBristol VR Bristol's rear-engined bus chassis, designed as competitor to Leyland Atlantean and Daimler Fleetline. 1141(AFJ 706T) which has been repainted in green, was moved to Cornwall for MOTMinistry of Transport test preparation. The vehicle has been stored for several years and therefore there is quite a lot of work to be done. This means that it may be a while yet before she is ready to 'hit the road'.
